Luke is an artist, illustrator and screen printer born and raised in London now based in Brighton. In his early years he developed a passion for drawing and showing an aptitude for art he focussed most of his energy in that subject at school. He has spent his years since, studying and working in various areas of the visual arts. He studied 3D design at Barnet College, Film & TV at Glyndwr University (fromerly NEWI) and has also trained and worked in Animation, Photography, Graphic Design and Screen Printing. Luke worked in a west end camera shop for many years where he learned about an eclectic range of photographic equipment and various photographic techniques. He went on to assist various photographers shooting for clients such as GQ & Tatler, then began working in the field himself predominantly shooting portraits and events. He wanted to work on projects that were less about trends and more about society so he changed direction becoming a graphic designer for a multi award winning youth charity. There he worked on providing key skills and media training to young people to raise their prospects. Along side that he produced a multitude of design work, illustrations, animations short films and photography for various projects and clients. His experience with other mediums has enhanced his ability to convey a story and deliver a message in his art and illustration.
